First guest speaker---Brian Forth
Brian Forth owns a software company, the main service he offers to the customer is helping them build their own website. His company name is SITECRAFTING. Based on brian's speaking, he started building a website when he was a teacher, at that moment, he chooses some kids from the class, and teach them about website building skills, then he let those "tech supporter" helping other teacher building their course based website so that students can get info from those teacher's website.
Later on, Brian chooses to become an entrepreneur and set up his own company. From his company's website, we can easily find out three main things they can help with. The first one, of course, is website building, they can help customers creating a smart and beautiful website. The second one is research and testing, Brian has a special lab called GearLab, it is a user experience and design research lab. The GearLab can provide several tools to help companies understanding their customer's needs and expectations, known how to increase conversion rate, make information more findable, creating more accessible websites, understand how their customers interact with their website, evaluate the effectiveness of website interactions and measure their website's performance. The last main service is digital marketing, this one is one of my favorite services, in current time, every company needs to understand how to drive traffic to it, in another word, traffic is money.
Also, Brian has talked about how to build your group team and how to stay them with you to help to build your company. The main thing is the company's culture. Just like Brian said, you should put yourself in the last position, every employee is coming for money, they have their own family, their kids and wife need money for life. So, pay yourself when all employees get paid.
